Condition and Usage
- Initial Inspection and Inventory: The tenant/customer must inspect the furniture upon delivery/move-in and sign a detailed inventory that documents the condition of each item. This initial assessment will be used as a benchmark when the items are returned.
- Normal Use Only: Furniture should be used for its intended purpose and in a "tenant-like way". Prohibited uses may include using indoor furniture outdoors, using pieces for commercial functions beyond what's agreed, or engaging in activities that may cause damage.
- No Alterations: Tenants may not make any alterations or modifications to the furniture (e.g., painting or reupholstering) without the owner's or rental company's express written consent.
- Prevent Damage: The customer is responsible for taking reasonable care to prevent damage. This includes not dragging furniture across floors (use felt protectors) and promptly cleaning up spills.
